People who have more control (less stress) over their work circumstances are healthier and often live longer. Social environments: civic vitality: the strength of social networks within a community, the values and norms of a society influence the health and wellbeing of individuals and populations. Social stability, recognition of diversity, safety, good working relationships, and cohesive communities provide a supportive society.
