• inequity→ Unfairness or bias, inequity occurs when differences in for example access
to housing or income relate to factors such as race or gen
• inequality→ Inequality is the condition of being unequal which may or may not be
unfair. For example, if help or priority is based on need then differences in levels of
support but my unequal but still be equitable or fair. Gender inequality in health may
relate to the burden of pregnancy but is not an example of inequity. However when a
