Palpation: drop off the base of 5th, distal border is base of 4th and 5th mt and cuboid (up then down, proximal border is with the calcaneus (little hump) Info: attachment for lateral collateral ligament (lcl) Drawing/palpation: more posterior, find tibial tuberosity and go back. Info: origin: head of fibula, action: plantar flexion, eversion, support of transverse. Insertion: plantar side of medial cuneiform, base of 1st metatarsal arch. Palpation/drawing: draw head of fibula, anterior border is on anterior border of fibula, behind the lm, aim for cuboid, draw both insertions.
