Keeper. this novel is about a family facing the burden of a life threating disease of a loved one. The main characters of the book are two sisters named kate and anna. When kate was born, she was diagnosed with leukemia. Their parents loved their daughter and wanted to do anything they could to save her. So, they ended up having another daughter that was genetically modified to be the perfect match for kate, her name was anna. Though the advancement of science anna was able to be created to have the same genes as kate. Throughout the novel anna tells her side of story about how her life has felt been. She was not able to do the things other kids her age would do because she always had to be there for her sister.
