Introduction: ecological systems: describes how changes during adolescence influences other changes (ex. People who go to york believe they are under those who go to mcmaster) Stage-environment fit: describes the way that developmental changes in an adolescent inter-relates with changes in their environment, such as parents rules or demands (ex. Rules for 13 year old are different than that of an 18 year old). However, often there is a difference between the stage and the environment, causing parent-child stress: cultural diversity: refers to the variety of customs, beliefs and expectations for a"s found in different cultural backgrounds. Practical applications: being able to study this course, and the apply it once we are parents of our own a"s: educated consumers: understanding the critical world and incorporate scientific findings with our current understanding of the field. Periodical adolescence: related to biological changes that occur in uberty.
