When women started pushing for more equal opportunity for employment, when it occurred in. 1960"s-70"s, this was greeted by men as offensive and problematic and outrageous. Men tried to deny women work on the basis of thoughts that this would: destroy the family unit, goes against the nature of what women are. Economic realities and our social system and the economic system that runs it more powerful in how we think than principle and moral planes. Economic system dictates to us how we feel about things and how we think about things and what things we like to believe. The ways most people think and feel within a society have a lot to do with the way the society is run; nothing strange about the way we have something about themselves different than places that run differently. People think in unison that has to do with the system we live under.
