Hollywood film industry-> star wars movies (similar stories, repeat audiences), allow for cross promotions (subway"s star wars cups) War, stories with similar characters, visuals, and sounds) Hot: high definition media that fully engage one or more of our senses, making us passive receivers for its images, sounds, etc. Cold: low definition forcing us to fill in the gaps in the transmission, making us more active readers/viewers/listeners or consumers.
