We practice this in our society usually all though only 10% of cultures practice this (the other 90% are polygamous) The rule limiting a person to one spouse at a time. A good example of an extended family is the proud family since they have their uncle and grandma in the mix. Polyandry: a women having more than one spouse at a time. The marriage to one women and more than one spouse composite house hold: two or more nuclear families living together. Exogamy: when you marry someone outside of your social group (or a defined group). Neo- local: when the husband or wife live with neither of their kin.
