Paradigms originally from scientific method do paradigms change, how. Kuhn: why do they happen, how does perception change. Changes when there are too many anomalies (results that don"t fit the hypothesis), when the theory becomes too weak and has no explanatory power anymore, paradigms shift. Paradigm: for kuhn, scientists work within paradigms, which are general ways of seeing the world and which dictate what kind of scientific work should be done and what kinds of theory are acceptable. These paradigms provide what kuhn calls normal science ", the kind of science routinely done day after day. Over time, normal science produces a series of anomalies which cannot be resolved within the paradigm .
