Exhausted from my journey i am tempted to sit down and take a break, but with one deep breath and a glance among the mountain tops, all my thoughts dissipate. When i am approached with the question what is your favorite place? this moment continuously replays in my head. My mind begins to wander to all the wonderful places that i have had the amazing opportunity to visit throughout my travels. I proceed to ponder the question by comparing and contrasting the different landscapes, cultures, histories, activities, scenery and other affiliations that connect me to each and every different place. Although i have had the privilege to visit an abundance of places around the world revelstoke, british columbia trumps all the others and gives me the pleasure to call it my favorite place. Revelstoke is meaningful to me because it represents my journey through life. Reaching the top of a mountain was my freedom from all my problems.
