Agnosticism- belief the existence of god, cannot be proven, but the existence is unverifiable. The ontological argument- use of logic to prove god exists. Ex/ god is a being with every conceivable perfection. Anselm says being than none other can be conceived (fairies) Blaise pascal- we need proof of something for it to exists: Faith is all you need for something to exists. Science says there is no way to test god"s existence. There needs to be a prime mover to set things in existence/ motion. Saint thomas aquinas- defends cosmological argument with this: The un moved mover- everything moves, but e need a push to start. Necessary 1 being that relys on it"s self-(if there is nothing, then nothing would evolve) Intelligent design-we r too complex to have evolved. Not scientifally viable theory, because we cannot test god.
