Democracy highlights the intrinsic importance of political participation and freedom in human life, as well as keeps governments responsible and accountable and for the needs and rights of the people. People"s consumer-tendencies are overpowering their desires for what is right. In order to get the product we want as fast as we want them we rely on the most efficient methods of production, but those are not always the ones that are the most fair - bad for workers.
