Group-related communication is often times more important than written communication and computer skills. Two uses of the word group: (1) people brought together by circumstances, such as a group of fans at a sporting event or concert, (2) people who interact with one another to accomplish something. Group communication: the collaboration of three or more interdependent members working to achieve a common goal. Group members who actively collaborate with one another to achieve a shared goal have the most influence and impact on their own lives and the lives of others. As the number of people in a group increases, the number of possible interactions and misunderstandings can increase as well.
