➢ Steam Whistle Brewing uses Microsoft Dynamics NAV which was formerly known as
Navision.
➢ It is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for companies that want an end-to-
end solution flexible enough to support their unique needs, but robust enough to
handle complex business processes.
Inventory Management:
➢ Allows the company to perform basic inventory tasks quicker within receiving, selling
and calculating the cost of items.
➢ Searh ites y rage of fields, iludig SKU, aufaturer’s part uer, ategories
or product attributes.
➢ Manage inventory and sales forecast using Cortana Intelligence, to accurately predict
future sales and avoid inventory shortage.
➢ Set up automated reordering based on predetermined stock levels.
➢ Steam Whistle chose this because it is one of the few accounting packages that can
handle the 5 different taxes applied for beer (production, shipment and sales taxes).
Team Clean
➢ Steam Whistle Brewing also uses Team Clean, which allows a group of skilled indviduals
to clean any draught lines in the GTA.
➢ This is a process of rotating all the beer so it's the freshest it can be and constantly keep
the lines clean so the beer tastes the most premium.
➢ In addition, team clean also installs draught towers and portable units for use around
the city.
