Queen, marie antoinette: she briefly escapes, but this causes an uprising in the crowd, the king eventually calms the crowd. Constitution of may 1791: officially changes frances political structure, the national assembly was replaced by the legislative assembly, the legislative assembly has political power. The legislative assembly was to be elected but certain people could not vote.
