Quiz 1, preparation questions.
The quiz is worth 10% of your final grade. So if you do well, that’s great. But if you do
not, it will not ruin your final grade – but you’ll know you need to prepare better and
should come see me or your T.A. for advice.
FIVE of the following questions will be on the in-class test on Monday October 1 . you
must answer all five questions on the test. Because you have had the questions in advance
I will not give you a choice of questions on this quiz.
During the test you must put all your stuff in your bag, and place the bag on the floor or
at the side or front of the room. In front of you on the desk should only be a piece of
paper and a pen to write the test.
Time allowed for the actual test will be 15 minutes. This means you need to study these
questions and practice answering them so that you can tackle them quickly on Monday.
