Social media is playing an important role in the professional as well as personal lives of people these days. There is no doubt that more and more businesses are using social media to attract as many customers as they can to generate as many revenue as possible. Facebook is one of the most popular social media platforms nowadays. With more and more companies using Facebook, the popularity and the benefits that it can provide to businesses are increasing. Facebook is an excellent way of not only connecting to the existing customers of a company but also to the many potential prospects out there. After all, the more the customers, the more are the profits for a company. Facebook “Like” button is a social plug-in that allows users share their content with others on Facebook with just a click (Facebook.com). But before a company considers integrating the Facebook “Like” button on their webpage, it is not only important to understand the benefits that it can offer but the privacy concerns of doing so shouldn’t be overlooked as well. According to the Wall Street Journal, many businesses are finding the Facebook “Like” plug-in to be more valuable to their online marketing campaigns.
