Define & refine a topic, be specific re. historical period, site, location, group, etc. select relevant articles. Summary of arguments; look for new findings, sub-themes, refuted claims, emerging ideas/theories, organize common findings. Synthesis & discussion; reflect the purpose of the review, evaluate the literature, logically link the findings and the chosen topic. Look at similar articles and group the themes together and discuss the common findings. Min 3 peer reviewed/scholarly journal articles (within last 10 years); post a pdf or a link to d2l by jan 28. Article selection: original, primary research/findings (not a literature review or an opinion essay). Turnitin submission: checks plagiarism (site properly) Post top 3 peer reviewed research articles fully cited in apa style and provide a pdf or link in the discussion board. Use key words and filter peer reviewed journals. Research is ways of finding answers to questions. Both a system to produce knowledge and the resulting knowledge produced.
