In democracy we take our own self-interests or what we want, and what ever else is best for the common good. Democracy gives the people the chance to have a voice, which is important because we all want to be heard. In a democracy, you have the right to choose. What spiderman taught us was that with great power, comes great responsibility, meaning that the power we have to make our own choices, comes with a lot of responsibility. In a democracy, the responsibility within a democracy starts with us, it means we take responsibility for our actions when we break certain rules, or laws, there is a consequence that follows. In a democracy it is important that we do our part, by being citizens who contribute to our society.
