Provide students with an understanding of strategies canadian minorities use to claim their human rights. Provide students with the tools to engage in public debates about the protection of human rights, affect public policy in canada and prepare for future employment. The course is structured around a weekly 2-hr lecture and 1-hr tutorial during which we will focus on a special research project.
