The purpose of chapter 7 is to get you to start thinking about things from the perspective. First, gender and sexuality can be seen as critical vantage points. This means that gender of the opposite sex while understanding your own gender identity in a sociological framework. Those who comply are rewarded, while those who go against the norm are punished.
