Why is it important to examine education from different disciplines and perspectives: guidelines = sociological perspectives, perspectives: point to what s important based on particular assumptions about social reality and how to study it, to get different views on education and the education system (provides ways of looking at it differently, many different humanities subjects share the same ideas and sociology is influenced by these ideas.
