Brain: the body organ that exerts control over behaviour, connect to the rest of the body. An active brain connect to the rest of the body and create behaviour. The brain is a physical object, a living tissue, a body organ. Spinal cord make connections between the brain and the rest of the body, which descend from the brainstem through a canal in the backbone. Central nervous system: is made up of the brain and the spinal cord. Peripheral nervous system: the process radiating out beyond the brain and spinal cord. The human nervous system is composed of cells. Neurons: specialized nerve cell engaged in information processing. Neuron communicate at sensory receptor in the skin, with muscles and with internal body organs.
