The way he presented made such an impact that they didn"t even listen to the content. 10% of your talk = intro, 80% = main body, 10% = wrapping things up. Verbal airplay: practicing the talk in your head to yourself. Verbal drafting: when you actually do dry runs of the talk. Always answer the questions, if you don"t know then promise to get back to them. What not to do: do not turn your back to the audience, do not compete with your slides or presentation materials. Your slides should drive retention points, not take attention away from you: do no read your equipment. If you have a handout, do not read it aloud.
