It cannot be greater than 85 90 feet high the highest that you can go safely. Greek temples are not designed to house an assembly of the faithful, worship takes place outdoors not indoors. This is important because as the early christians decided to build a place of worship, they realized that they cannot use the greek and roman temples as models because they are only used to house deities. The parthenon was built during the age of a very famous greek leader: pericles, who was often associated with the initiation of the golden age of athens. Simple rule: each and every roman and greek temple is no more than a simple rectangle block.
