Hero: special background that is special itself, heroes will save people in general way civilize the human world. Ancient greek did worship heroes but not like gods, do not have temples for heroes, heroes are below and gods are above (heroes die and go to the underworld just like regular mortals) Herron: a place of cult worship for heroes. Gilgamesh (eastern) has influence on greek myth. Knowledge through suffering and spiritual enlightenment (always suffers) either literal or symbolic. Are females, not as active as heroes, has royal or divine background, is beautiful and/or has powers, often shown as mothers and/or lovers/wife. Not many myths about heroine being without a hero. Great feats fueled by passionate devotion (example: wife or lover, her child, her beliefs, family)
