As stated in the question, experience is a central part of adult and transformative learning as portrayed in the various reading that were assigned to us. If i were to deliver a course to adult educators in training i would high light these 5 key points to allow them to understand how important experience is to learners: It is important to understand that people bring a collection of past experiences and knowledge they have gained. This then means that individuals might have different view/meaning of the same event that will be dramatically different. Meaning our socio-cultural-temporal backgrounds is a central part of how we interpret the meaning of an experience.
