This week i learned a lot about the case of citizen united" where corporations were granted the right to freedom of speech , which also included the rights to donate money freely. This means that corporations are now able to donate money to certain political parties or campaigns that may favor their position in the industry. Throughout the group discussion i noticed that many member of my group had compiled a list of more rights that a corporation is entitled to than responsibilities it is expected to uphold. At first this surprised me, in my own compilation i found more responsibilities than rights, but there were many right i had not even thought of including, property ownership, tax benefits and contract making rights. Perhaps a lucky coincidence, but this week in another class i was learning about personalities of employees in organizations and their behaviour based on personality patterns.
