Aggression, bullying and conflict management are major problems in today"s schools. Parents, teachers and support staff all have an important role to play in dealing with these issues, although figuring out exactly what needs to be done is not a straightforward task. Drawing out information from the textbook and pepler (2006) and craig, pepler & blais (2007) articles, answer the following questions: defining four forms of aggression: Instrumental aggression want to get something: strong actions aimed at claiming an object, place, or privilege. It is suggested that a socio-ecological framework should be used in situations of bullying: school wide, classroom and individual approaches of prevention, targeted intervention and self-discipline, consider all systems that directly affect students. More analytical and comprehensive approach: will allow the teacher to come up with a better solution. As the child becomes more skilled, the scaffolding can be dismantled and reassembled as necessary.
