Gene expression is the process by which the information from a gene is used in the synthesis of functional protein or rna product. Replication is the processes of creating an identical copy of both dna strands whereas only one strand is copied in transcription. Translation is the process of synthesizing peptide sequences from mature mrna using cell machinery. Genes are sequences of nucleotides in a genome that contain information coding for the synthesis of a functional protein or rna product. It is a part of dna (or rna) that codes for a specific trait.
