Reading the textbook will help you understand the material and perform better on the exams. You do not need to bring textbook to lectures. We are not going to read from it. There are cheaper options if you are cash-strapped. If you miss the midterm for legitimate reason, i will transfer the weight to the final. Legitimate reason means sickness (with doctor"s notes) or family emergency (with supporting document). If you miss the final for legitimate reasons (with proper supporting document), economics department will schedule make-up exam based on school"s policy. You will need to notify me before the scheduled exam.
