Callaghan valley --> developed in 2010 winter olympics. There are layers of data within this valley that you need to take into consideration when building on it. Slope --> implemented by a digital elevation model (dem) (has x, y, z co-ordinates on the floor which give you elevation and that generates the slope) Tree density --> young, old, height, what type of forest (old grown forests - forests that are protected) First nation"s territory --> you have to consult the local communities in the area. Cmg (culturally modified) --> culturally modified trees have to be protected. There are other layers which need to be taken into consideration when building on this valley. Geospatial data provides a tool that incorporates multiple stakeholders (i. e. locals, architects, builders) that allows them to collaborate upon a proposed site. Crime data is categorized by block space --> i. e. 30xx which indicates the block, but not specifically the address.
