Refection is what makes us laugh, cry, scared. This inevitable says stuff about societal norms. I love superhero movies/shows and have been watching them for a while however it was only recently that i started to be aware of how female superheroes were portrayed. Now i feel like i am not just more aware but because of this understanding i also care more about it and see examples of it in real everyday life. I notice myself bringing up this particular situation (female portrayals in superhero movies) more often as well + like to inform/have a discussion about it with people when we have a normal conversation about these movies. I see myself as someone who is more knowledgeable in this subject and i invest more effort into noticing and caring about this subject that i feel like i even want to help change this way of thinking.
