-Managers may coerce but leaders do not; they gain the commitment &

organization + themselves
-Set clear goals: L and F work together towards a shared outcome

develop your leadership skills or allow them to remain the same.

-Technical Skills (things): ability to use methods, techniques, tools and equip. to
perform a task
-Interpersonal Skills: ability to understand, communicate and work well with others
-Decision-Making Skills: ability to conceptualize situations and select alternatives
to solve problems and take advantage of opportunities
