years
Somatic disorder:
-anxieties expressed through numerous physical
complaints
Conversion Disorder:
-physical symptoms, suddenly happen
Hypochondriasis:
-preoccupied with having serious illness
Pain Disorder:
- pain with no identifiable/physical cause
Major Depression Symptoms:

-trouble with concentrating and thinking

-lack of appetite, energy and sleep

Dissociative Disorder
-breakdown of normal integration resulting in
big changes in memory or identity
Dissociative Amnesia
-selective memory after trauma
Dissociative Fugue
-"deep sleep" and total loss of identity because
of trauma
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)
-mental spilt identities
-from trauma /childhood abuse or cultural
factors
Orgins of Therapy:
-trepanning (hole in skull)
-blamed on demons(demonology)
-isolation(keep separated from sane people)

-help MI patients by using humane treatments
