Citizens have more power now, ethical behaviour is changing with it. Paint company used to put lead in paint now people know how bad it is for the environment so now its not allowed and now people are talking about suing them though it was legal before. Civil society is what everyone else answers to (in canadian society) Society steers the direction of what we want/need from governments and businesses. All forms of for profit business ownership : Partnership (more tight integration between owner and company) Proprietorships (more tight integration between owner and company) Federal (have to ensure the military, financial system, post office and etc are working) Three segments: business, government and civil society.
