Perspectives to crime stats: (1) prima facia: primary way. Crime stats are fairly accurate reflection of nature and extension of crime in our society: (2) constructionist: institutionalist. Which crimes are worthy of attention: (3) structural. What people in power deem as criminal: (4) integrationist. We should take something from each perspective.
