One/third minorities can be found in developed and undeveloped countries (canada and other countries) versus the two/third majority. Development became associated with economic growth after wwii when the world was rebuilding and all the countries were focused on economic growth and development. Gdp is based in investment and the production of goods and services. Increases in gdp are a re ection of the higher strata of the society.
