Emotions of passion welling up from below the centre of the earth. Never try and comfort the byronic hero, it plays into their act. It"s like trying to comfort a lioness who"s had her cub taken away. By trying to comfort him, its mocking him, not taking his pain seriously if you believe it can be soothed.
