GEG2304 Laboratory 1 Introduction to Climate and Data Analysis Temperature Discussion From the graphs the data shows a longterm trend that shows that the temperatures are increasing For example the steepest trend that happens to occur is in the month of December shown in figure 1 However the other months show a gradual increase as well The coldest year that occurred between the years is 1934 and it happened in February the temperature was 207 shown on figure 1 On the other hand the warmest year is July 1921 at the temperature of 25 which is seen in figure 3 In figure 1 it shows a period that was particularly cold which happens to occur between the years of 19301950 the coldest point was in February The warmest period is occurs in 19101930 which is shown in figure 3 There is evidence that shows in recent years that the temperature has increased
