Inhibition of opsonation: spa protein from s. aureus sequesters antibodies and binds to b cell receptor that induces apoptosis. Inhibition of pamp signaling: y. pestis- uses a type 3 secretion system to deliver yop proteins. Yop proteins have many effects such as disruption of cytoskeleton elements (yoph phosphatase), inactivation of mapk cascade of cytokine production (yopj acetyltransferase): shown with this experiment. Escape from the phagosome: escape- listeria monocytogenes.
