Mid-term test (in class; november 1st, from 7h00pm until 8h30pm) Format: the exam will have two parts: part a: questions will be on antigone and the apology (one question could be a comparative one). You must answer one of these questions with an essay: part b: questions here will be on the republic (and will cover up to book v). You must answer one of these questions with an essay. For a list of the main possible topics, see the list below. I will not necessarily pose a question the way it is phrased below or the way it was phrased in class. I may also combine two questions/topics into a single question. * your essays must have a brief introduction and a brief conclusion.
