When cells produce and recreate substances that stay within themselves. they don"t communicate with other cells other than their own. they don"t release from the cell. Cells that produce and create outside the cell but come back to the same cell. it feeds out of the cell and comes back. Cells will produce and create outside and a ect cells that are close by (adjacent) to the cells. Endocrine cells release hormones that release chemical signals into the bloodstream that will travel and alter target cells by binding onto receptor cells. They move further on in the system. Are released into the environment and will alter the behaviour of another individual in the environment.
