May want to get in touch with them for masters/doctorate: research funding, time management work life balance issues, choices how they choose to use their time. May do lists first, and then integrate it. Clinical supervision: almost half engage in clinical supervision, model of supervision reflects model of supervisor, very little research on what makes a good supervisor. Where do clinical psychologists work: hospitals, community clinics, residential clinics, child protection agencies, prisons, family practice, private mental health practice, universities. If psychologists do not prescribe medication, what should they know about it: classes of drugs for different problems, efficacy of drugs and of drugs in combination with psychological treatment, side-effects. Upset or preoccupied with own life: keep up to date with knowledge, engage in self-care, coordinate with other service providers, integrity in relationships, accurate representation of qualifications.
