Aids quilt = in victoria, money goes to aids research, started in late 70"s early 80"s. Formal death education = religion classes teaching the afterlife. Visual arts = sculptures, coffins (as seen in the movie by greg palmer), paintings. The nuclear age = one moment alive, other moment dead, this will always be upon us. The aging population = no retirement for some people so the mortality rate is increasing. The prolongation of the process of dying = keeping alive through technology. The psychology of entitlement - the rights of the dying = some countries choose to die and some do not. Meaningful confrontation of death = finding a meaning in your life and death will help you die more comfortably.
