Stereotype: overgeneralization of groups or members in the society. For example: canadian people are cool and friendly. How are they related: prejudice is actually based on stereotype. For examples: when you say chinese people are good in making sushi (stereotype). Sapir-whorf hypothesis is the language that shapes how we think, perceive and thus experience the world. The language uses many different symbols, colours, and many other things to express the world and each symbol. For example: the picture of president obama while he was speaking to the prime minster of israel while his foot was above the office desk and facing the camera. This picture offended people in israel because the bottom of the feet mean that their equal to the feet.
