LECTURE 01 Course Introduction
Welcome to Intro to Business: MGTA01
- The professor’s ae is Prof. Chris Boaird
- The struture of this ourse’s letures ill osist of a siilar patter eah eek
- We will begin with a little recap of the previous lecture
- This will be followed by the first half of the lecture which will last roughly an hour
- Then we will have a 10 minute break for coffee, or to ask any questions you may have
thus far
- We will then continue with the remaining hour of the lecture
- Please note there will be no hard copy of the course outline all relevant course info
will be posted on Quercus
- Quercus will be the platform which our course will be available on
- This platform will contain weekly announcements, lecture power points and webcasts
- Please read the course outline for a detailed understanding concerning the structure of

o Midterm = 40%, Final Exam = 60%
- No tutorials, group projects, labs or assignments

- If you miss test because you because you have been ill, you must supply medical
certification
- If you provide documentation, you will be offered a deferred test 2 -3 weeks after date
of original test (mid-November)
- The final exam is cumulative
