Document Summary

The mid-term test is worth 20% of your final grade. It will be held in class (sw319) on tuesday, October 16th 2012 from 9:10 a. m. 11:00 a. m. The first section will be comprised of 5 short-answer questions worth 10 points each, for a total of 50 points. The second section of the test will have one essay question worth 50 points. The questions will test your familiarity with the lecture material and reading assignments as well as your ability to apply what you have learned. You will need to be able to answer questions regarding the major issues and debates surrounding these topics. You will be expected to write your answers directly into the test booklet provided. Only 5 short-answer questions will appear on the test, you must answer all of them. One of the following essay questions will appear on the mid-term test.
