Psya01 - lecture 1 - there"s no soul in psychology. Psychology is a fairly young and complicated concept. Soul is a part of us that is not physical but spiritual. This can be explained using the analogy of the four forces. Say you drop your keys it hits the ground. This we can now explain by the concept of gravity. However, back in the period when psychology first evolved gravity was not discovered. So the reasoning behind this was that keys are metals which would be categorized as earth falls to the ground that is also earth. Earth wants to be with another earth, therefore, the affinity between the two souls that cause this to happen. When one exhales smoke from cigarette it is a form of air which floats up to join with air. When it rains it eventually reaches a body of water which again shows the affinity the forces have for themselves, reasoning everything has a soul.
