SOCB55 on XAM The final exam in this course will take place on Thursday December 16 (9:00- 11:00; HW 215) It will be made up of 2 parts; PART 1: 40 multiple-choice drawn from class material, Chapters 7 and 8 of Krahn, Lowe and Hughes; and Chapters 4,5,6, and 7 of Laurie Graham, On the line at Subaru-Isuzu. There will be 12 multiple-choice questions from Krahn, Lowe and Hughes, 12 from class material, and 16 from Laurie Graham’s book. Part II: One (1) essay, worth 20 marks, chosen by yourself, from a list of 3. The three questions will be drawn from the following topics: “On the line at Subaru- Isuzu; Trade Unions and Industrial Relations (including strikes); job satisfaction; unemployment and its effects; crime and deviance in the Workplace.
